LED produced its Moving Industry Forward / Annual Report FY 2006 to provide busy legislators and other constituents a snapshot of the state's best assets and the department's year-end economic development progress in moving Louisiana forward. The report is designed to focus attention on key successes and present a clear relationship between LED's mission and its accomplishments.

The success of the annual report is evident in the support garnered from Louisiana stakeholders, the demand for printed copies and the high number of downloads from LED's website, LouisianaForward.com. With 687 projects announced and $8.4 billion in investment just one year after the storm, this annual recap demonstrates the state's past successes and goals for the future.
